SONNET 261
By JH Sayyar
Time comes not again like wave;
But infancy, childhood and youth,
In my memory and your tart behave,
Breaking heart feeling more sooth,
I will open memory lock in old age,
To see time changes in love again,
Fading lips, youth in wrinkled cage,
Your playing in my memory lane!
Love grows in youth in time frame,
Increases lust, decreasing force
Life is nothing; a cruel time game,
It changes in you our right course
Ah! My poor love has moral flaws!
When we are tired; death makes pause
