24. Ode to Sadness

24. Ode to Sadness

O Sadness! I drink you daily like poison,
Makes body tired, like hot iron billy,
Bleeding all parts, smoke rising to horizon,
Due to woes; die wishes, my Lady, chilly.
Passions awake, as flowers in spring time,
Until we; in fantasy, we do not awake from life,
Wishes die like spirits listening to you in dawn,
O God! Life; a fate slave, it is a fate crime,
What we think, our right, what is written, strife,
Life realities; hard, our thoughts, always haunt

Today, dim light, rain falls with a cool flow,
Shine birds, fluttering wings in the halls,
Flying swans in breeze, on the sea light glow,
The lakes; full of birds, sitting on the walls
Fresh air comes from heaven, touching my face
Birds sing on trees, a fascinating sight for eyes
Geese, swans, ducks, seagulls, swim in the sea,
Waves throwing pearls to the shore grace,
Kids roaming with moms, their laughing cries,
Over the heads hovering tiny larks freely

I sad: before my eyes all heavenly sights,
Heart weeps, eyes throw tears a bit warm,
My Swan flew leaving me alone in day light
I saw her flying over the sea flying air charm,
Ah when heart sad, heaven turns into hell, anon
Wishes die, might fails, pain haunts my head,
Darkness before the eyes, no wish to live,
Ah! Fate laughs at me, fall without canon,
Sad warm tears in the eyes turn into red,
What we think is refuted; fate not ready to give
