Ode to a Sparrow Couple
By JH Sayyar
1
Yester morn I saw a sparrow couple on a tree,
Fighting in the air, sometimes on the branch,
An attractive sight of fight, alas! I was in hurry,
Beak to beak fight, as The Romans Troy Launch,
While fighting chirping and gabbling in the air,
Their issues in the nest crying for water and food,
They busy fighting, in erotic mood in the air drift,
At last sat on the branches; finish fight love affair,
In a twinkling of eye I saw them in a amorous mood,
Tongue to tongue caressing finishing their love rift
2
Looking at it; I remind of my Swan’s combat,
Of yester night in mood fight of words and phrase,
All night war with me, at the compassionate,
Her anger on the nose, love in eyes I amaze,
Her composed mind, eyes and humble tongue,
I see in moon light, looks a pixy; of pixy land,
Red lips, pink ring in finger and floating hair,
Touching knees and her T shirt body clung,
Eyes shining as in darkness; the moon, sand,
Of the beach, I cannot forget my Swan’s care
3
O My Lady, love does never turn into hate,
Our love; unseen; love foundation in care,
Our love; full of trust, makes our love great,
Fighting in love balances trust and love affair
Like sparrow we fight and anger forget soon,
My love, swan’s passion, never ending love,
Seen in doves and in a singing nightingale,
In summer, our pious love starts in June,
More deep than sea, O My Cute Ladylove,
All angels; on earth; our pious love do hail
