23. Ode to Canary

23. Ode to Canary

                  By JH Sayyar

1
A little cute bird, living in pair, Canary!,
Your voice; alluring, I; you; appreciate,
You sing in lonesome in pair like a fairy,
In a pensive mood whole night to create,
The effect of joy in desert, singing alone,
You express sorrows; none listens to you,
Your sad songs in moon light in a pair,
None to listen to your sorrowful groan,
Your sad songs, full of woe, not bill and coo,
Alas! None to praise, none to make cares,

2

Canary, your songs sad, you know not tears,
You sing in lone; I weep on my poor fate,
None hears you; my Lady laughs at my tears,
Appear in my eyes, my pains than you; great,
Loneliness bites you and me a thorn of Rose,
We express our sorrows in dales and vales,
Where no human being; tree and water lakes,
In such place we sad, but pappy primrose
When your throat tires, silent; my heart wails,
I bitterly weep falling on the white flakes

3

O Canary stop singing, I stop wail and woe,
Come in my garden, none listen to me,
Let us befriend, none will make us poo,
None will hate us we will live here freely,
The world: full of sorrows sufferings and grief,
They ignore emotions; take us as stones,
They kick us as waves to boulders on the shore,
This jealous world gives us nothing but grief
My Lady sorrows have melted my all bones,
I die, you be happy, give woe more and more
