617. Your crawl and youth view in eyes

SONNET 617

By JH Sayyar

Your crawl and youth view in eyes
Sweet love, come and sit by my side
What I notice in love I summarize!
In my bosom; your love I will hide
But my woes reveal; face tells soon
My sufferings; buried in my chink!
Tears shine on the cheeks like moon
Twinkling all night when I do think
Ah! Love means love; not to entice!
Or a self deceit, each other to cheat!
Yea love ends when it turns to spice
Looking at the reason my cries bleat!

O Rose if you love me; do not flatly refuse
You false when I see in the mirror of Muse
