258. My passion and reason at a fatal war,

SONNET 258

By JH Sayyar
My passion and reason at a fatal war,
Emotions instigate to kiss her breast,
Reason forbids sleeping kiss will mar,
My trust I think let her take some rest,
You dream my face with a killing ruth,
Sitting there O Lady! In your cute eyes,
See your deeds of childhood and youth,
Your will see when from sleep you rise,
Remove all thoughts from your bosom
All recorded in book, we know it or not,
Even our thinking or our cute twosome,
Every deed recorded of a palace or a cot,

I hate you not but your jealous thought,
No mart; from where it can be brought!
