SONNET 224

Worries encircle me without you;
Solitude confiscates my pleasure!
Frightens me night-wail and woe
Thus I lose your memory treasure
I think why your face; dim in mind
Or my memory weak with old age
To avoid it O Rose nothing I find;
Now my youth; in a wrinkled cage
Love and youth both are in vain!!
Times steals all; beauty and years
Turns our heavy bones into grain
When I recall youth I shed tears!
Body changes; soul does not change
It is God’s decree, not in our range!!
