SONNET 372
By JH Sayyar
When roses bloom in valleys,
When cuckoos sing in trees,
Sun shines in sky to increase,
Heat in all creatures of seas,
Love season starts with spring,
Sleeping wishes awake at last,
Beauties flying with beetle-wing,
To search loves on the lust mast
My Lady’s love comes and goes,
Like bask with horror and fright,
My love curses her sleeping pose,
But her pose my weak pen might.
My Mistress: death a long sleep,
You sleep; your cute eyes weep!
