SONNET 223
By JH Sayyar
Your ruthful smile sharpens my wit,
Your coral breast adds charm to line,
May God write my glee in your writ
Your face my loneliness concubine.
No love in luckless luck, I offer you,
My love; to add charm in your life,
You find loves but none like me true,
I love you as someone to other's wife.
You live more away from me I think,
In my weak body rests your dull soul,
Alas! All night sleep I not at a wink,
Now to get your love is my final goal
O Fair let us make on beach bill and coo,
Yea! Soul talks to soul if our love is true
