529. In spring lilies grow on the beach

SONNET 529

By JH Sayyar
In spring lilies grow on the beach
I miss your in the full moon light;
Happy not, tell me the real breach
I find in heart; bull and bear fight!
Ah in youth when we used to play;
In Ferry Boats with  bill and coo!
I am standing all alone on the way;
Over me the black circle of woe!
Leave behind men all happy days
Woes chase glee; avoids all day!
Life melts like wax if we do gaze
In slumber death; shadows fray!

O Lady! You do live in my heart!
Except love, all is sold in the mart
