SONNET 485
By JH Sayyar
I forget toil watching red the cheek;
My wit opens your cute, cute eyes!
Your love true; a secret mind freak
My Lady’s tongue; full of dark lies
I listen to birds; singing lovers’ woe
Telling a woe tale to lilies no reply
Like a child your heart is most true
Your eyes teach me how to tell a lie
Forgetting anger, do sit by my side!
Live in my heart; do stay in my ball;
What is your mind; tell me, not hide
Trust adds glee to life; devours gall!
O my Lady! Mistrust ruins holy soul;
Smile adds charms to a cheek’s mole
