456. When I see you in my image book

SONNET 456

By JH Sayyar
When I see you in my image book
I see you ever younger as in past
Cheeks shine like roses with a look
Your lips fresh as seagulls on mast
I see you after a long and long time
Trenches on cheeks, cute eyes show
Cheeks melting; fresh in my rhyme
Time mars beauty; silver in hair grow
Your emotions, cruel time defeats
Follow time trends wherever you go
Sit like a child, enjoy heavenly feats
Silver I see O Lady in you eyebrow

Who live in eyes time does not steel
Pleasure of verses you will also feel
