447. When I look at the beauty of things

SONNET 447

By JH Sayyar
When I look at the beauty of things
I wonder how girls’ kisses devour!
How time burns unseen magic stings
Space folds matters, men think never
Eyes discover beauties reflect grace
The rays of beauty stir eyes’ powers
A few lovers eternal beauty trace!
Time hunts it, look at the flowers!
I see no beauty in women’s frame
Deceitful eyes, heart never be true
Women’s will how lovers can tame
When time steals grace leaves woe

Honesty, beauty, it has no gloom!
Even it shines in the darkest room
