440. When you come in spring season,

SONNET 440

By JH Sayyar
When you come in spring season,
All lilies bloom in my heart lawn
Moon lit reminds me of a treason
Leaving me alone; in early dawn!
Life burns like a wick of candle!
Tears fall like drops on the ground
Eyes full of tears, make me dandle
Soul freezes like stone, heart sound
Woes come to teach how to befool
Woman not, our wit a self deceit!
A ray of hope makes my head cool
Hope changes into stalk weak feet:

Happy days pass leave woes behind
Your eyes in my eyes; to me unkind
