Beg for knowledge, plead for insight:
Both the gifts of God to protect you,
Do guide you when you are in plight.
It is our Lord’s promise most true.
Knowledge and insight protect soul,
Dishonesty awards worldly pleasure,
Its end appears in a permanent dole,
Ignorance devours wisdom treasure.
Love for wisdom closes to God’s Being,
Love for ignorance leads to the Hell.
We are born to die souls are fleeing,
None pays attention to the wisdom-yell.
If you crawl to the hole near to the doom,
My eyes see dying with my youth bloom.
