SONNET 343
By JH Sayyar
All marriages are to save frame,
A foolish idea of making immortal,
But more hard inner self to tame,
More easy to break a brass portal,
Buildings made of stone and steel,
Can never make immortal shows,
All decay on earth by time wheel,
Men rotten when sex hunger grows,
All finish children, wealth and fame,
A word-blend dies not on the globe,
Words: soul of God, a time game,
Time steals all not the words; rob.
Leave words behind, no pelf, no issues,
These after death; create wails and woes
