SONNET 327
By JH Sayyar
When Muse surveys your eyes,
I see fading cheeks, silver in hair,
In ears echo echoes false oath cries,
Kill first to get the second my Fair,
When talking eyes talk in vision,
I see sitting by you a lover in mind,
Resembling to my face in confusion,
Your love is a lust how can I bind?
I dig a grave in my heart graveyard,
To bury your faults and false oath,
Bearing you with faults most hard,
Bear your kiss with a new growth
O Lady I bury your faults forever,
But your nature will change never.
