254. You turn away your face; is my grief,

SONNET 254

By JH Sayyar
You turn away your face; is my grief,
Eyes lose sight; hearing functions fail
Let me know the cause anon in brief,
Again in dreams; my heart you hail.
I see in your eyes; my own reflection,
Sitting sad; putting head on the breast,
But your eyes reveals a kissing action,
Leave me not I love your canker guest,
If I lose you dear. I lose all what I gain,
In love labor with it my love wish dies,
Your reason fails; sex controls brain,
In love echoes you listen not to my cry.

The second kills the first; Joys no more,
Leave the second; come to me I implore,
