235. Do look in the glass, come around!

SONNET 235

By JH Sayyar
Do look in the glass, come around!
Youth went, winkles on your cheeks,
Come out of revelry old age is sound,
Your lovely skin numb if love tweaks,
Your painted beauty covers birth flaws,
But all show your coral flabby breasts,
Tear into pieces hearts like a tiger paws,
Stiffness leaves you anon in the pests
False hopes keep man alive in the lone,
Beauty deceives; on the cheeks shine,
Looking at eve , listen to hearts’ moans
Crying for a calm full death taking wine,

You see in dream O Fair my love is slain,
I want death in your arms again and again
