217. Man is like a puppet’s shadow,

SONNET 217

By JH Sayyar
Man is like a puppet’s shadow,
A shadow in the shadow is hidden,
As rose beauty springs in meadow,
As sin-charm in life is forbidden
The couple broke vows make sin,
The first sin makers in Paradise,
No mistake but Eve’s heart to win,
The sin of Eve the world beautifies.
Death; a messenger of our actions,
keeping our life records up to date,
Without it we cannot get perfections,
So the binder death we must not hate

Woman love weakens man’s creed,
A weak faith; the cause of life greed
