SONNET 176
By JH Sayyar
What you see in the glass, tell me this,
Your beauty is not on earth forever,
And in old age none comes to kiss,
Prideful beauty woes always devour,
I love your beauty, dies with the time
I love your tongue, has no change,
We die one day but live in the rime,
Death nothing we our being exchange.
I see smiles on your wrinkled face,
Behind it lives youth time circle ends,
Silver in hair adds charm to the grace,
Till the last breath for you God sends.
Face beauty loses when silver in hair,
Time circle ends your cute love affair.
