157. We are tamed in the name of a child,

SONNET 157

By JH Sayyar
We are tamed in the name of a child,
As flatter children with colored toys,
Kids’ glee provide a chain to the wild,
In the beginning forgetting all sex joys.
Life force does add charm to charm,
The secret of running this Universe,
Life force thought keeps heart warm,
We know realities late then we curse.
First we enjoy then we do find chain,
Mighty and powerful I see its control,
Loses day by day your thinking strain,
We surely feel fools to play the role!

Ah! To produce shadows all men’s duty,
One day born bitches, the other day beauty
