SONNET 15

By JH Sayyar
Yea! Once in life you were young,
Your pretty lips, cute talking eyes,
Your silky thighs and sweet tongue,
With running time goes to the skies.
Time devours nothing leaves behind,
O Lady, remember all past happy days;
Just dying reflections you will find,
Beauty looks a shadow when I gaze.
A wrinkled face, sullen eyes I see,
Like a pale ghost looks your face,
Leaving the womb, full of worry,
All evergreen their beings efface

Time perishes all but afraid of fame,
In lot of jealous, time writes shame.
