134. When I think about the towers of Troy,

SONNET 134

By JH Sayyar
When I think about the towers of Troy,
An image of Helen floats in the mind,
All decay with time those who enjoy,
Her beauty ruling nothing left behind
I think steel destroys all the Troy gates,
Sitting in the horse cheating vigilance,
Some say the trick I do say luck baits,
All move around luck nothing hence.
Time kills everything if you ruminate,
Just love remains, the same as it was,
Love emotions are not the slave to fate,
Do follow a divine love; free of laws.

Time can’t decay love; my love divine
Muse; My Lady, my words’ concubine.
