659. Sitting in the park I fell in a dream;

SONNET 659

By JH Sayyar

Sitting in the park I fell in a dream;
Slept in calm for a long, long time
An angel appeared just like a beam
Leaving the needy in need: a crime
That told me,”God knows our needs:
More than others, and does not leave;
Us alone, rewards back good deeds!
Getting the needy when others grieve."
O Lady! Leave fighting, let us divide
Our love among the poor with whole;
Heart, people recalled, when we died
Poor wait from South to North Pole!

Always kind hearted people are paid back
In real life to put them to the right track!
