593. O merciful Lady, give me your ears

SONNET 593

By JH Sayyar

O merciful Lady, give me your ears
Listen to me carefully, sit by my side
The world of old age is full of fears!
I see in the sunken eyes floating tears
I know the cause of your tearful eyes
We have got maturity forward ditch!
Childhood nothing emotion and cries
Youth is conquered by an old bitch!
O Lady come and let us think in lone
What we have done in the past days
I do see nothing but sigh and moan
My soul freezes when in lone I gaze

Childhood; a slave, youth; a devil-mat
Old age grave chum, shivering our gait
