SONNET 579
By JH Sayyar
Let us sit jointly sister and brotherLet us forget divergences tonight!
Because; we have lost our mother!
That was in tough time our might!
Yea! Our faces reflect our parents
We can see our mother and father
In each other faces; in eyes’ tents
Sleeping peacefully, upset rather
Due to our parting, anon forget all
Come and sit together to energize
Our childhood and youth our pall
Lost; our parents survive in eyes!
Parents die but leave prints in face!
Of brother and sister to boost grace
