388. When I close eyes, see three shadows,

SONNET 388

By JH Sayyar
When I close eyes, see three shadows,
Walk before me heads: bowing down,
Like swans flying in sky in the rows,
Lightening from eyes wearing a gown,
Lie in black garb peeping like a flower,
Doubt in pale garb, hiding its black face,
Truth in white dress with a holy power,
On a white horse wearing crown grace,
Lie and truth shine like moon in the sky,
Doubt like a dim moon unseen for eyes,
Riding hiding its face on the back of lie,
Seeing truth flying sobbing with cries!

No brawl but doubts in human brain,
Make eyes blind like a preyed crane!
