SONNET 375
By JH Sayyar
Look at the roses in the mead,
Welcomes all with a tender heart,
Make hearts gleeful if you heed,
Beauty: every human nature part
Flute music charms to all ears!
Birds chirping allure our being,
Both remove fright and fears,
Dying beauty reveals age fleeing,
In women’s eyes not love, hate,
Among men burns beauty seeds,
Eyes beauty makes all men great,
Perfect beauty activates deeds
False beauty lover-heart gallows,
As Mercury is kidneys’ tallows
