SONNET 365
By JH Sayyar
In the valley of love I was alone,
Bowing down the head close eyes,
I hear bill and coo in a lower tone,
Down head weeping with the sighs,
At last I uplift the head out of knees,
I see crows and cocks crowing there,
In dark eve I with pains lips squeeze,
My soul freezes: I was free of care!
A voice comes in ears; no love true,
Those who trace love all are unwise,
Love your-being, love full of woe!
Love, just a fancy, as I summarize
When I ponder over it my heart cry,
Her kiss sweet, but tongue full of lie
