354. Heart weeps, tears float in eyes,

SONNET 354

By JH Sayyar
Heart weeps, tears float in eyes,
Fall from the cheeks to the ground,
I see false desires wail with sighs,
In dark night I hear no bird sound,
Lovers useless better not to be here,
Around me jealous I curse my fate,
The third eye sees all lovers in pair,
Woe over woe like waves with bait,
What I find in your love but sorrows,
My heart waits for your ruthful eyes,
I do talk in lone to your false vows!
Your love deaf; hear not my cries!

When silver in the hair you will feel,
Cruel time listens not to your appeal
