SONNET 353
By JH Sayyar
Your sad eyes expose heart, sad,
Tears rolling on the face in night,
Looking at the heart the stars glad,
bit by bit my tears unite the might,
Ah! Tears shake empty paradise,
But my sighs touch you; not stone
Falling in naval lust, we get surmise
I weep today, you tomorrow alone,
Good time like waves come and go,
Both batter hearts with a leather lash,
To purge dross from the soul in row,
Bad-days leave you anon in the crash,
Good angels live in mind with notions,
All do watch notions: not commotions
