SONNET 349
By JH Sayyar
Today’s love! Tomorrow’s woe
When furrows appear on the face,
I recall your all youth bill and coo,
Heart traces love seeing dying grace,
Beetles fly not over the dead flower,
As lovers worships cute coral breast,
Pretty parts of body coquettes mar,
When unfinished will in heart nest,
Better for you; love your being!
Leaves you not alone O my Friend
Ponder over it; your age is fleeing,
If you do not; time turns your trend,
O God! In love I do lose pleasures,
Now I face; time drastic measures!
