SONNET 310
By JH Sayyar
Your beauty shines in the stars,
As ruby glows in the dark night,
Cheeks glitter as cannons in wars,
For watchers; full of pure delight,
When your attractive eyes survey,
Marigolds, iris and lovely tulips,
Fluttering in breeze, your sway,
Like parrot eye stronger cage grip,
After toiling when I reach at lodge,
I lay on bed but cannot take rest,
You live in eyes; and you dodge,
When I close eyes you prove pest.
Love grows in heart, shines in eyes,
But behind it dwells sobs and sighs
