SONNET 324
By JH Sayyar
Tell! Why is melting your being?
Silver in hair ass sands on the beach,
But I see your shadow is fleeing,
Leave behind your print I beseech,
Your stubborn nature breaks heart,
your shadow will fly from the glob;
Ah! Shadow beauty will be smart,
But you with your smile glee rob
Your invert sleep mars your breast,
Your deep sunken eyes, flabby teat,
Your being’s flaw O Rose, just pest,
Your teeth glowing like pearl in peat,
With the fairy beauty you will die,
Your tearful eyes reflect your cry.
