SONNET 202
By JH Sayyar
When I leave home with your memory,
Naval force feels a wonderful feeling,
In my pretty visions my dim eyelids see,
Your red, red lips for me more appealing
All day my heart burns with the love heat,
All night my eyes weep why I you choose,
To be my Cute Lady, my wit at my feet,
I misread the eyes; what the eyes expose.
It is my pretty will my willful will in you,
What I think is just; what is just I think,
What the tongue says wrong; the eyes true
On your promise bed I can’t sleep a wink.
When be tired of woes I do think to sleep,
My heart vigils all nights, my eyes weep!
