SONNET 129
By JH Sayyar
The verse you write tell me truth,
Your tongue sweet, conscious nice,
Your eyes add charm to your ruth,
Your love clings to soul like vice.
Want to see me; do see in the eyes,
I see you in my mind’s eye O Fair,
Moving on the roof your early rise,
Time can’t kill our true our affair.
You add power to my fickle pen,
Your eyes instigate me to write,
Words for praise from nine to ten,
Push me never fails my finger might.
If your love is true; I am your verve,
Always my heart ready you to serve.
