756. So pure she walks, untainted by the guile,

SONNET 756
By JH Sayyar

So pure she walks, untainted by the guile,
A dawn light soul where no dark shadows lie,
Her words like doves that nest without a wile
Her gaze as clear as rain upon the sky
The world tempt with cunning and disguise,
Yet she remains untouched, a bloom unbent,
With truth unspoken shining in her eyes,
A grace not taught, but by the heavens sent.
She trusts where others falter and retreat,
She gives where many take and turn away,
Her heart, though fragile, knows no sly deceit,
And glows with quiet strength day after day

O Lady’s Innocence, thou art a holy flame
In her, thy love light forever shall remain.
