SONNET 640
By JH Sayyar
Time changes direction, not here!
Everywhere; you sit by me all day!
Do not turn face none is for care!
Let us talk without fear and fray!
Our bodies: a part of old history
Earthworms eat our tender bodies
Our love for the world; a mystery
Our love songs; sung by sea geese
Time has stolen our youth days!
Ah! We see an old wrinkled face
We enjoy youth’s the last phase
Trembling hands; stumbling pace
Time perishes all; word cage; more
Strong than Time like a sea shore!!
