49. When I was nothing my love me left,

SONNET 49

By JH Sayyar
When I was nothing my love me left,
Got the second leaving the first in hell
I supported you when the second cleft,
Your heart, love a mind folly I do tell.
Now I am rich enjoy name and fame,
Some cutes join me as fast friends,
Nothing lies behind but just to tame,
Me for evils, I know their trends.
Love is a self-deceit none is sincere:
When you choose you fall in cheat,
When you are chosen love free of fear
A self-choice leads lovers to retreat.

If friendship base on wealth or sex,
Both make simple life more complex.
