478. Luck favors fools cute faces deceive

SONNET 478

By JH Sayyar
Luck favors fools cute faces deceive
By oath, smile and beauty on the way
When I think beauty does me grieve,
Time steals beauty; not with her stay
Who are proud of beauty? The slave;
Of animal passions; drive the brain!
Thinking remains; not goes in grave;
After flying to the sky; beauty in vain
O Rose! Come let us do think in lone
How to refine men with our fine term
People lack of holy love all day moan
It is very easy O Lady! If we are firm

Men lack of knowledge fall in a ditch
Death is chasing us, death animal itch
