306. I find love sleeping on the floor,

SONNET 306

By JH Sayyar
I find love sleeping on the floor,
Moon lit falls on her lovely face,
Looking at her: lovingly I adore
Red, red cheeks on earth grace,
Cute than Helen your cheeks,
Rose beauties all day you greet
Nightingales sing for weeks,
Larks sing with her lips’ beat.
Time marks on the face reflect,
Now flies your beauty with days,
Time steals your beauty is a fact,
I see you young in eye I amaze,

O Lady, beauty flies, just bones,
Shin as in sun rays at dry stones
