276. You look cute or not: ask the glass

SONNET 276

By JH Sayyar
You look cute or not: ask the glass
All your beauties: time will steal,
Youth and old days come across,
Standing before you: with no deal,
Do good deeds in life with pleasure,
Do not reap the weeds of severe pain,
You do fail, if you think in leisure,
Glee not grief comes again and again.
When your beauty decays, you in rime
Live like a comet when I am gone,
Mighty, pen or beauty: proves time
I compare you with joy, not moan!

Nothing stays except goodness for all,
Increasing knowledge; ignorance-fall
