SONNET 239
By JH Sayyar
Tired of day’s work, falling on the bed,
My limbs want rest; my soul not tired,
Sleep starts a journey in my tired head,
Mind flight moves, my body expired,
Eyes search for you, what you doing!
On the beach; dark night hangs at you
Shrinking you, the cheeks are wooing,
Ask your heart, you; to me false or true,
My soul eye seed all in the dark view,
Watch all clearly with my soul flight,
Converts pleasures into grief all new,
Teases me more, breasts’ kissing sight,
Day time; I think you, at night I weep
In your grief on the bed, my eyes sleep
