By JH Sayyar
O Zarin's love, a light through darkest skies,
A flame that warms when all world is cold,
Within thy gaze, a thousand meanings rise,
More rich than pearls, more radiant than gold
Thy voice—sweet music drifting on the breeze,
Can calm the storm, or bid the night to bloom;
Thy touch—like spring reborn upon the trees,
Revives my soul and lifts me from my gloom.
No time, nor fate can wither what we share,
Though seasons pass and distant stars may fall;
For in thy heart, I find a dwelling fair,
A haven strong, untouched by sorrow’s call
Zarin, thy love, so deep, so fiercely true—
Is all I do seek, and all I shall ever do!
